Torpan Pojat (also known as ToPo) is a basketball club, based in Helsinki, Finland. It was formed in 1932, originally as a sport club (not only for basketball) for the school of Munkkiniemi. With approximately 500 members, it includes men's, women's, and junior teams. The home games are held within Kisahalli, a sport hall that is located in downtown Helsinki, near the opera house and Olympic Stadium.
Famous team members (now retired) include Kari-Pekka Klinga and Anssi Rauramo.
Former NBA players Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen have played for Torpan Pojat. Rodman played one game on November 6, 2005, against Espoon Honka. Rodman played 28 minutes, scored 17 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds. Fifteen of his 17 points were made behind the 3-point line, with a total of 13 attempts from beyond the arc. Pippen played two games in 2008. He played on January 4, 2008 against Porvoon Tarmo scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals in 40 minutes. On January 5, against Honka, he had 29 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks.
